MACRL Priorities

Let's use this page to determine priorities for MACRL.  If we can figure out the priorities, then we can assign/volunteer for leadership roles to carry out these goals.

The list below is starting point.  We can be specific to broad, add whatever you think is important. If you have something to say about what's on the list, add your thoughts!

• Open/Transparent Communication
• Strenghten Relationship with ACRL (as chapter)
  • Provide updated chapter reports to ACRL (Wendy McGrane)
  • Examine current ACRL/MACRL/Listserv Memberships (Marian Davis)
• Additional Professional Development opportuntities (outside of annual conference)
  • Brent Husher (UMKC) & Carol Smith (UCM) working on Free Webinar disucssing experiences implementing texting service at their libraries
• Stenghten Relationship with allied organizations (MOBIUS, MLNC etc)
• Survey to determine member needs for organization
• Regional MACRL meetups?
• MLA Future & budget
